This is the most recent picture I have of Kevin. I went to visit him in Biloxi for a weekend. Sorry you can't see his face very well, he isn't allowed to take his hat off when he is outside.
Heidi, Honey, not only is he not allowed to take the hat off outside, he's not allowed to have it on inside. By the time he left Lackland, putting it on and taking it off at the appropriate moments were things he did without thinking. It's an easy habit to acquire. All it requires is a bunch of guys with as many stripes as zebras shouting things like, "Get your hat off in my house!" and pretty soon you're trained. From the photo I get the impression that the old "two finger" rule is still in force and effect. When it's on, the bill should be pulled down so that only a couple of fingers can fit between it and your nose. Your Aunt Shayne used to get a little frustrated by this, claiming that she couldn't see my face. Imagine her wanting to see a thing like that!
